Big trees. Big roots. Big pine cones.
Last Sunday we went hiking in Mariposa Grove/Giant Sequoias in Yosemite. As a child, Kurt remembers taking a family trip to Yosemite and driving their car through the Wawona Tunnel Tree (photo 6) The tree fell in 1969 after a heavy snow season.
It was a "big" day.
