My favorite thing about spring is the renewal of life. The bulb start breaking through the ground, the leaves start forming on the willow tree, the flowers start blooming on the trees, the grass gets greener, & the air smells fresh! My favorite thing about spring is the bright green (almost fluorescent) color of new leaves. Winter in Wisconsin can be so gray and colorless so the bright colors of spring are a welcome relief. Least favorite thing: the MUD!

My favorite thing is the end of the snow(we still have 2 feet on the ground) but not the mud! and the longer days - love to see things start to green(up here probably 2 months from now!)
The tiny buds on the trees and the bulbs that are peeking out of the ground. Spring also reprsents hope to me.

Hard to choose my favourite thing about Spring - I guess it is a renewal of life. The birds are chirping, the bulbs are sprouting and the leaves are unfurling.

I'd have to say that my favorite thing about Spring is that the weather is so nice that I can actually sit on my front porch and enjoy hearing the birds sing. Usually it's too hot here in FL to sit out there. I love being able to leave my front door open to enjoy the fresh cool air.

I'm a blog follower too!
All things are green and growing, flowers, trees, grass. I love spring and summer. I also love spring when I can travel to visit my granddaughters.
Since 2007 Spring has been a reminder of the circle of life...what comes from fire. I have lived in Modjeska Canyon for 27 years now and the gifts that were given in the Spring of 2008 were the most remarkable. Welcome Spring's new beginnings.
You have chosen my favorite part of spring....we planted daffodils four years before we had the house built. They remind me that the best is yet to come. Happy Spring!
I can't pick just one! I love the daffodils, the longer days, the freesias, Easter Sunday with my family, giving my bunnies special treats to celebrate "their" season, I love how the hills are so green, and the sky is so blue, I love it all!!! :)

My favorite things about spring include: longer daylight hours; blooming flowers, trees; warmer weather and the sounds - birds chirping, frogs croaking, crickets singing! I also love that spring is like an awaking/new beginning.

The perfect weather we are having this spring and fixing up my screen porch with baskets of ferns, impatiens and pansies.
It's so great to be able to open all the windows and doors and just let the breeze flow through.

Spring brings back wonderful childhood memories...Both my mom
and paternal grandmother had a
love of flower gardens! We had flowering bushes, trees, spring
bulbs, annuals, perennials,etc.
I remember the smell and taste of
honeysuckle and picking violet
bouquets! Now, I have my own flowers
to enjoy and share with others...

hearing the "peepers sing at night are one of my favorite spring things!
My favorite thing about spring is purple hyacynths...the scent is like heaven and my grandmother always had lots and lots of purple hyacynths and each spring a little piece of her comes back to me and it makes me so happy :o)
I enjoy watching all the bees being busy. Someday I will have my own hives. The birds are also so awesome as this is their time to have their fledglings. We had a little Kill Deer here with its parents during the 4th of July weekend last year. We also witnessed the tiniest baby quail just flap his little wings like mad so he could follow mom & dad up over the cinder block wall.
Fresh, crisp air filled with the scent of my blooming jasmine vine!

My favorite thing about Spring are the blooming azaleas. We have lots of azaleas that only bloom during the first of Spring and they are so beautiful right now.
My favorite thing about spring is planting flowers for my patio and watching them take off in beautiful colors and getting to exercise in the daylight after a long winter of running and biking in the dark!
