We have a "dog" cookie jar by the backdoor. Molly gets a little treat every time she does her business. Because Molly is a little dog I buy the small size milk bones and I break the cookies up in about 4 pieces. After all it's a treat, not a meal.
Last week I discovered they now make a MINI size milk-bone! The perfect size for Molly and so CUTE!

Maria, we do the same thing! Every time our little Shih-Tzu does her business! I thought I was the only one! lol I discovered those minis a while back and I thought the same thing - how perfect they were!
That is so cute Maria! A baby bone! We have an itty bitty to and I use dehydrated beef liver cut into "bite-sized" pieces. That way she's getting pure protein with out the carbs. Don't you just love those little cuties?

many years ago i had a beagle mix, Asia, she would be sleepy when it was time for her last outtie of the night and would balk at going..we had the bright idea of giving her a treat just like you do..one week i noticed she constantly was asking to go out..i thought perhaps she was sick.. she seemed fine..but day after day this continuted..until we realized the dog was smarter than we were..she wanted treats and had quickly figured out the key to getting what she wanted..with each out,a cookie came her way..duh

I was checking out your ornament and saw this post. My dog (a beagle) is addicted to Milk Bones. He usually only gets one when we eat supper but has decided he needs them more often - like if we get a glass of water, walk in to the kitchen, he feels he’s been good. We joke we need to get him to a Milk Bone Anonymous support group. Kristin Geber
