In other news, this week the post office raised there rates...and raised them they did!
Some went up almost 100%, yes you heard me right 100%
Two places I send a lot of packages to are Canada & Germany. Both of those are now almost double the cost. I use to be surprised when it was cheaper to send a package to Canada, then back East in my own country. Well, those days are now over. I understand they needed to raise their prices, but this was quite a shock!

Warming up

It's been so chilly here this past week (chilly for California that is)

Kitty has been camped out on her heating pad, only getting off for food breaks.

This morning it warmed up, the fountain thawed and kitty ventured out back to bask in the sun...

I think I'm ready for Spring, how about you?

Hang in there

Did you make a new years resolution this year?

Some years I do, some I don't.

A good friend of mine made a big one. I know she can do it! It's going to be tough though...

So I made her one of my possums, to remind her to hang in there.

Christmas is now put away...which is always a little sad.

My time off was filled with a little relaxing, mixed with working on T-Rex on the coast.

Well, Kurt did most of the work, but I supervised...

The bathroom is now almost finished, then I'll be busy painting.

I also added lots of new beads to the shop today...

The elves (me & Molly...ok mostly me) have been working hard behind the scenes, getting ready for the holidays.

Not a very exciting weekend, but a productive one...

Lots of trips to Lowes, plus we laid the bathroom tile down at "T-Rex"

I cut the tile, while Kurt laid it.
I must have cut a million (maybe two million) little square tiles in half for around the edges.
